Shannon Healey is a NYC based dance movement artist and creative therapies specialist. Originally from Florida, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida’s BFA Dance program in 2015, then went on to receive her Masters in Management in 2016. She has studied under Nita Little, Tzveta Kassabova, Alexandra Beller, Dana Ruttenburg, Neta Pulvermacher, and Raja Kelly. Since relocating to NYC in 2016, Shannon has danced with Nicole Assanti and Nikki and the Noise, DZ Maciel, and Doug Gillespie. As a creative specialist, she has worked under Stefanie Nelson, providing dance classes for teens with autism, and currently at AHRC in Queens, where she is developing a dance curriculum for adults with disabilities.
